Pursuing Joy In Seasons Of Depression
Respond | Sarah Conti | Breakout Session One
Depression is a common struggle for mankind—even for Christians.
Scripture shows us example after example of people in raw sorrow, grief, and low places. We must pursue joy even in our depression and remember that joy is not based on our circumstances. It’s based on Jesus.
Sarah Conti used this breakout to give us 10 ways we can pursue joy in a season of depression. Trust in the promise that we have a good and loving Father that is working all things together for our good and his glory—even in a season of depression.
“Christian joy is a good feeling in the soul, produced by the Holy Spirit, as he causes us to see the beauty of Christ in the Word and in the world.”
John Piper
