Lodging & Recreation:

You are welcome to stay in one of our cozy cabins on-campus or explore the many off-campus options through the travel website of your choice (like Airbnb). Please keep in mind that we are primarily a student camp, so all of our rooms have bunkbed style accommodations.

Our housing is not ideal for married couples. However, there is a large number of cabin rentals and Airbnb options located in our area. Consider options located near our Snowbird address: 75 Mae Johnson Way, Andrews, NC 28901.

Our on-campus recreation options are available. Many off-campus ideas include hiking, local coffee shops, or exploring the NOC.

Snowbird Wilderness Outfitters exists to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the exposition of Scripture and personal relationships in order to equip the Church to impact this generation. This Gospel-driven mission is what every one of our retreats is focused on.

How do I register and prepare for arrival?

Click the button below to set up your Snowbird account and pay a small deposit to register your couple’s spot for the marriage conference. You can easily choose to register as a family or group. If you’re coming as a group then we’ll do our best to assign you rooms in the same cabin area.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out. Call us at 828.321.2210 or email us any time. We’re here to help!

What is the programming like at Snowbird?

This marriage conference includes solid biblical teaching, Gospel-focused worship, high-adventure recreation, and encouraging days with your better half. Don’t worry if you’re not the greatest thrill-seeker—there will be delicious food, beautiful scenery, and plenty of time away from the craziness of everyday life.

What recreation Is provided at the Marriage Conference?

The scheduled recreation includes our on-campus recreation options, like our climbing tower, aerial park, 3-man swing, and gun range. However, there are plenty of small-town mountain treasures to discover as well. You’ll have time to grab a quick hike on the Appalachian Trail, watch kayakers explore the Nantahala River, or check out one of the coffee shops in Andrews, Murphy, or Bryson City.

What types of housing is available?

We have over 14 cabins on our campus, divided by bedrooms for each couple. They each provide twin-sized bunk beds, air conditioning, and heat. Our cleaning team takes great pride in keeping things clean but the buildings are simply functional. You’ll need to provide your own bedding, pillows, and towels. The bathhouse is a short walk across the property.

Our housing is not ideal for married couples. However, there is a large number of cabin rentals and Airbnb options located in our area. Consider options located near our Snowbird address: 75 Mae Johnson Way, Andrews, NC 28901.

How do I add or drop additional spots to my ministry team?

You can add additional couples to your group as long as the conference is not full. The best way to check the current capacity is to open your Snowbird Account and see if any remaining spots are open for the retreat. However, you’ll want only to register spots that you’re sure you’ll need. The deposit is non-refundable.

What other adult conferences does Snowbird offer?

We provide several adult retreats and conferences throughout the year, that are designed for both individuals and church groups. Click the links below to learn more:
