Brody sits down with Kyle to talk about training Snowbird’s security team, active shooter readiness, and why repetition, practical skills, and humility matter. Kyle also shares about his work with Diplomatic Security Services and training Marines for embassy security.
Then the conversation goes deeper as Kyle opens up about combat, trauma, and how the Gospel changed his life through Scripture, time, and brotherhood.
Part 2 – What Comes After Combat?
In Part 2 of our conversation with Kyle, he continues sharing his journey from Marine infantry deployments in Iraq and Afghanistan to a difficult battle with alcohol, marriage strain, and identity. Brody and Kyle talk honestly about combat, loss, coming home, and what happens when you try to carry everything on your own.
The conversation turns to faith and finding his way back to God through a family health scare, honest friendships, and a renewed life of prayer. Kyle shares how he learned he didn’t have to “get right” before coming to God.
Today, Kyle and his wife, Jennifer, are helping build a church inside a Marine barracks through Manna Church. We talk about military ministry, staying faithful through hard seasons, and watching young Marines come to faith and carry the mission forward.
