The Hope of the Gospel in a Story With No Heroes | Beyond the Flannelgraph

The beauty of the Gospel exists even in the midst of broken situations. Today, Brody walks through Genesis 34, where Dinah, the daughter of Jacob is defiled and her brothers have to rescue her. 

This story has no happy ending except for the hope the Gospel offers. There is no redeeming quality in humanity. We need a rescuer. Jesus is that rescuer. Jesus entered into the darkness of humanity to save people who can’t save themselves. 

Listen to be reminded of God’s plan of redemption for us. Even when we didn’t want it, Jesus came to save us from our sins.
