Solus Christus. Christ Alone. The Roman Catholic Church undermined Scripture to serve themselves which gave people the wrong view of Christ and his finished work on the Cross. People were made to think that their obedience could make up for their sin. Scripture tells us that only Christ, who lived a perfect life and died in our place, could cleanse us from the sin we are born into. He is our Great High Priest and mediator. Jesus made a once and for all sacrifice so that we could receive salvation and have access to a relationship with God.
