When everything else fails, where do you turn? In Mark 5, Jairus is desperate to save his dying daughter, while a woman who has suffered for twelve years reaches for Jesus in faith. Two very different people, but both discover that Jesus is exactly who they need.
In this session, JB looks at what genuine faith in Jesus really means, why religious activity isn’t enough, and how salvation comes from grace through faith. We also unpack imputation, how Jesus takes our sin and gives us His righteousness, and see how He restores the woman’s identity by calling her “daughter.”
This powerful story reminds us that Jesus has authority over suffering, sin, and even death.
