Proclaiming the Gospel in Marriage

Since the beginning of time, marriage has been under attack because it is the quickest way to pervert the Gospel. Whether you realize it or not, your marriage gives others a picture of the Gospel. We must make certain we are portraying an accurate picture.

When we look at Ephesians 5, Scripture shows us how to walk out the Gospel in our marriages. Are we walking in love and serving our spouse? Does our marriage even reflect that we are Christians? Because we are children of the light, our marriages must be distinct from the world. This is accomplished by joyfully taking on the roles God has specifically placed on husbands and wives.

Remember, your marriage is proclaiming something. Is it the Gospel?
