Winter SWO: Jesus, Our Great High Priest

Our sins separate us from a holy, righteous, God that is set apart from sin. We could not be in a relationship with God outside of Jesus Christ serving as our high priest! He is the perfect priest outlined in Leviticus 10, Zechariah 3, and Malachi 1. Now, because of Christ’s sacrifice, we can boldly approach the throne of God.
“Since then we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin.” — Hebrews 4:14-15
