Seeing Jesus in the Story of Jonah

The story of Jonah gives us a picture of the Gospel as it reflects Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection. In the same way that the fish spit Jonah from its mouth, the grave couldn’t hold Christ when He overcame sin and death for the salvation of all who put their trust in Him.
