Snowbird Through a Skeptical Parent’s Eyes

What do energy drinks, a skeptical parent, marriage, and grief have in common? They’re all part of one conversation about what a real “SWO reset” looks like.

We sit down with Ginger, a camp nurse, to talk about protecting kids from dehydration, heat exhaustion, and concussions. But the conversation goes deeper when she shares her story of when she came to SWO wondering if the camp was even trustworthy, at one point questioning whether it was a cult. By the end of the week, she watched her daughter’s faith take root and saw God do something she never expected.

From there, we talk about marriage, medicine, grief, and the kind of Biblical transformation that doesn’t end when you leave camp.
