There is no perfect marriage—but take hope in the truth that Christ is the perfect Savior. If we aren’t careful in our marriages, we will let unmet expectations grow into bitterness. The cure for this is Biblical forgiveness. We can’t look to any other source for wisdom, understanding, patience, apart from Christ.
Let’s put our flesh to death and remember who Christ is, and what He’s done for you. Always go back to the Gospel. The Spirit of God will empower you to be better husbands and wives.
