College Retreat | Him We Proclaim
The world has suppressed the Truth and it is our job to proclaim the glory of God to those around us. To do this, we need to know what we proclaim. Who we say God is and what we say about Him does not determine who He is, but instead determines who we are. If we see God for who He is, we will then see ourselves for who we were created to be. We will then be able to see and feel our desperate need for a Savior. If we proclaim Jesus, others around us will see that need and fear the holy God we have sinned against. Do our lives daily proclaim the doctrines that we see in Scripture? Are we daily remembering, meditating on, and learning the Gospel? We must trust the Gospel to change someone’s heart and expose them to the weight of their sin.
