Sex, The Safeguard of Mutual Satisfaction In Marriage

Imagine how much healthier our marriages would be if our aim was to bring satisfaction to the other. Sex was created to exalt Christ in the covenant marriage of one man and one woman. The marriage bed must be a place of mutuality—a husband seeking to satisfy his wife and the wife seeking to satisfy her husband. In 1 Corinthians 7:1-5 Paul writes to a confused church, who views frequent marital sex as being less than holy. He teaches them married couples should have regular sex in order to remain holy.
