How do we finish well? How do we fight the good fight and finish the race?
To kick off Be Strong, Spencer walked through 2 Timothy 4, where Paul speaks of his last moments in this life. Paul fought the good fight. God has granted us with the kind of faith that finishes. He will complete the work He has started in us.
But you won’t finish by sheer will or coincidence. We can’t will ourselves to decades of holiness. Christ renews our minds and changes our desires. The Spirit does the work but you need to make every effort.
So be faithful and stay on course.
