It is going to seem at times that God isn’t more powerful than this world. This is wrong. God has a plan and people’s rejection doesn’t change who He is. It doesn’t take away His authority over this world. The world will tell you lies. What God calls good, the world calls evil. You have to decide which you’ll follow—the world or Jesus. In this session, Brody looks at the life of Daniel and how he remained faithful to the Lord in the midst of exile.

Remember the changes that took place in your heart and mind when you came to know the Lord. You have a new identity in Christ. But you need to be on guard for embracing a twisted brand of Christianity that is conforming itself to the world. Scripture tells us to renew our minds daily or we will end up looking more like the world and its way of life.

Jesus has shown us the supreme example of how to live. You will be held accountable for how you live your life. Get serious about worshipping Jesus. Resolve to not defile yourself with this world. Resolve to be faithful to the Lord and make an eternal impact.
