Loving The Lord With All Your Mind | SWO25 Breakout

In Mark 12, Jesus said, “you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.” In Christian discipleship, it is really important for us to make sure that our actions line up with God’s standard found in the Bible, but we don’t often make it a priority to focus on our thinking. Sure, we might say that we need to think on the right things, but we also need to make sure that we are thinking rightly. To do this we should make it our ambition to look at the way we are thinking and line up both the “what” and the “how” with the Word of God.

We live in a culture overloaded with distractions, especially for the average person spending 7–10 hours a day online. In this session, Zach Mabry explores how constant digital noise affects our ability to think deeply, love God with our minds, and stay rooted in truth.

Using insights from Brave New World and Scripture, he looks at the dangers of entertainment-driven culture, the impact of social media on our brains, and practical steps to rebuild focus and spiritual discipline—starting with just a few minutes a day. Learn how to push back against distraction, engage your mind, and grow in your faith.
